Data Design Bootcamp

We are happy to announce a 4 month long Data Design Bootcamp for designers.
We are calling for applications for a 4-month, paid, full-time bootcamp in data, created for designers wishing to join Think Design as employees* post the Bootcamp.

We are sponsoring designers who have an interest, aptitude and the commitment to work with data, to train with us as part of Think Design’s Data Design practice.

Join us to know why designers need data, and to prove that data needs designers.

*Offer of employment at Think Design is subject to the candidate's successful result of the Bootcamp.

How to get started

The Data Design Bootcamp is a 4 month program that aims to train designers to work with data. It is a full-time program, with a stipend. If you are a designer with an interest and aptitude for data, and wish to build a career in this domain with Think Design, this is for you.

You need to be any one of the following:

  • A Design Student seeking a Graduation Project
  • A fresh Design Graduate
  • A Design Professional looking to transition into a data-focused career

Once you fill in the application form below, we will review it and if you are shortlisted, you will be informed via email to proceed to the next steps:

Round 1 | Applicants Shortlist:

We will be going over your application (the form below), your portfolio and resume links, and other information to shortlist for the next round. Candidates who make it through this stage will receive an affirmation regarding the next round.

Round 2 | Test:

You will receive a test over email, with a deadline to submit it within. Once you submit your response to the test, we will evaluate your work and based on the result of our evaluation, we will send you an intimation for the interview.

Round 3 | Interview:

Based on the result of the test, we will reach out to you for an interview. If you are among the selected candidates, you will be onboarded to the Data Design Bootcamp!

The Bootcamp will focus on theoretical and practical aspects of Data Design.

Module 1 will span the first two months, and you will learn the key processes of Data Design:

  1. Acquire
  2. Clean
  3. Mine
  4. Represent
  5. Refine

You can read more about it here.

Module 2 will span the third and fourth month of the Bootcamp and will focus on the tools used in the industry, and will be a hands-on, project-based learning experience.

This is an intensive, full time program which requires an average of 40 hours of work per week. There will be a monthly stipend offered to the participants chosen. The details of the stipend will be shared with shortlisted participants before onboarding. Currently, this Bootcamp will be conducted online. However, participants may be required to report to Think Design studios if offered employment post the successful completion of the Bootcamp.
