India’s first payments bank, Airtel Payments Bank was launched in January 2017 by Bharti Airtel, India’s largest telecom provider to support the cashless revolution promised by the Government of India. Think Design was roped in as a design partner for this mission to make banking simpler, more convenient and intuitive to cater to the needs of the underserved and unbanked population in the country.
