As part of the ongoing collaboration between Havas Group and AFAL (Akshara Foundation of Arts and Learning), Think Design conducted a workshop to mentor a group of students from grades 8 to 9. These students learned about the discipline of design, and we made sure to let them know how complex yet approachable the process of design thinking is.
The workshop began with a doodling exercise, and they quickly moved on to trying out several design methodologies in groups, including “A Day In The Life” and “Five Whys.” Defining problem statements, generating design briefs, sketching initial ideas, and articulation of benefits of each—nothing about the process was left untouched.
The workshop was animated by Deekshit Sebastian and Sanjana Banerjee from Think Design.
